Two-Gun Survival Course

Course Description:

APT Firearms Academy's Two-Gun Survival Course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively transition from a primary handgun to a backup handgun.  Training will cover the appropriate timing and rationale for transitioning between handguns, along with a detailed discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of various backup weapon placements.

 

Required Equipment:

• Primary and secondary handguns

• Appropriate holsters and magazine pouches for both firearms

• Knee and elbow protection (pads)

• 300 rounds of ammunition for the primary handgun

• 150 rounds of ammunition for the secondary (backup) handgun
