APT Firearms Academy's High Threat Weapons Course is designed to provide intensive weapon skills in a high threat environment.  Advanced patrol rifle, shotgun, and handgun techniques will be addressed.

• Speed shooting

• Two-man tactics

• Transitions

• Use of cover

• Disabled shooter drills

• Judgment scenarios

• Moving targets

• Shooting on the move

• Killed car drills

 

Equipment needed:

• Handgun

• 600 rounds of ammunition

• Shotgun

• 500 bird-shot and 20 slugs

• Rifle

• 600 rounds of .223

• Ear and eye protection

• Knee and elbow pads
