Course description:

APT Firearms Academy's Sub machine Gun Course is designed to teach military, law enforcement, and qualified civilians the proper use of the sub machine gun.  Open and closed bolt burp guns will be addressed.

This is a Missouri P.O.S.T. approved course

• Assembly and disassembly

• Nomenclature

• Shooting positions

• Immediate action drills

• Reloading

• Shooting from cover

• Shooting on the move

• Transition to handgun

• Static and moving turns

• Multiple targets

 

Equipment needed:

• Submachine gun (closed and open bolt)

• 1,500 rounds of ammunition (minimum)

• Pistol with 100 rounds for transitions

• 3 magazines, holster and mag pouch

• Hearing and eye protection

• Knee and elbow pads

• Tactical light (attached)

• 3 magazines

• Hat

• Foul weather gear

• Sack lunch
