Course description:

APT Firearms Academy's SLR / Patrol Rifle One-Day Course is a one day course designed to teach a solid foundation in the realistic use of the self-loading rifle, such as the AR-15 platform, AK platform, M1A / Mini-14, and the like.  On course completion the student will have competent and sound principles and fundamentals on the use of the SLR / Patrol Rifle.

 

This is a Missouri P.O.S.T. approved course

• Safety

• Sight picture

• Shooting positions

• Loading and unloading drills

• Stoppage clearing drills

• Close quarter use of the patrol rifle

 

Equipment needed:

• Rifle

• 400 rounds of ammunition

• 3 magazines

• Magazine carrier

• Hearing and eye protection

• Knee and elbow pads

• Sack lunch
