The Advanced SLR Course is designed to develop and refine the skills required for effective operation of a patrol rifle in dynamic environments. Participants will learn advanced rifle handling techniques, weapon manipulation, and marksmanship fundamentals beyond the basic level. The course also emphasizes tactical decision-making, gun fighting principles, and the development of a survival mindset to enhance performance and effectiveness in critical incidents.

 

 

Prerequisite for this course is the 2 day SLR / Patrol Rifle I Course.

Equipment needed:

• Rifle

• 400 rounds of .223 ammunition

• 400 rounds of .22 long rifle ammunition

• Elbow and knee pads

• Hearing and eye protection

• Pistol and gear

• 150 rounds of pistol ammunition

• Sack lunch
