Course description:

APT Firearms Academy's Pistol Caliber Carbine Course is designed to teach the student how to maximize the carbine’s potential.  This course is based on our submachine gun course using a semi-automatic carbine.

 

This is a Missouri P.O.S.T. approved course

• Proper stance

• Sight picture

• Loading and unloading

• Stoppage clearing drills

• Transitions

• Use of force

 

Equipment needed:

• Rifle suggestions:  AR-9mm, AR-22, Kel-Tec SUB-2000, Beretta Storm, CZ Scorpion, Marian Camp Rifle, etc.

• 800 rounds of ammunition for carbine

• Tactical sling (the APT Pro Shop sells some for the Kel-Tec SUB-2000 and Colt)

• Pistol

• 100 rounds of ammunition for pistol

• Belt, holster, magazine pouches

• Minimum of 3 magazines / speed loaders

• Hearing and eye protection

• Hat

• Foul weather gear

• Sack lunch
