Night Fighter II Course (Use of Night Vision)

LENGTH OF COURSE:  2 days (12 hours)

TUITION:  $675 (No extra charge for P.O.S.T. credits (L.E.)) 

 

Course description:

APT Firearms Academy's Night Fighter II Course is a two-day shooting course designed for the advanced shooter.  The student's current skill sets will be evaluated, corrected, and enhanced allowing each student to perform at their optimal ability.  Students in this class will engage targets from 2 yards to 200 yards.

This is a Missouri P.O.S.T. approved course

Prerequisite: THIS IS AN ADVANCED NIGHT VISION COURSE.  Students must have completed our Night Fighter I course OR a night vision class from another reputable training company OR have had experience using night vision in LE or military.  You will be expected to show up with your kit ready to go and proficient in the fundamentals of working with nods at night.  All students must be US citizens  (ITAR).

 

Topics covered:

  • Shooting and moving

  • Accuracy standards enforced

  • Positive identification

  • Shooting under stress

 

Equipment needed:

  • Night vision device (PVS-14 or similar)

  • Helmet for mounting NVGs

  • IR lasers and illuminator

  • Rifle - 5.56  

  • 1000 rounds of 5.56 ammunition

  • NO M855 or any other type of steel core ammunition

  • Minimum of 4 magazines

  • Red dot and/or illuminated scope preferred

  • Knee and elbow pads

  • Gloves

  • Ear and eye protection

  • Rain and/or cold weather gear

  • Note taking material

  • Food / snacks / water (Please bring your dinner for this class as we will not be leaving the facility.  A refrigerator and microwave is available for your convenience.)

Cancellation Policy – Night Vision Courses
 

Our Night Vision Courses are specialty training events with limited enrollment, dedicated equipment allocation, and advance instructor scheduling. Because of this, each registration reserves a specific training slot and associated resources.
 

For that reason, all registrations are final and non-refundable.
 

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. While we are unable to offer refunds or rescheduling, the following options are available:

  • Registration transfers are permitted. You may transfer your seat to another qualified individual by providing written notice at least ___ days prior to the course date. The substitute student must meet all course prerequisites.
     

  • No-shows forfeit all tuition.
