Course description:
Carrying a concealed firearm demands more than a permit—it demands judgment, discipline, and skill. This one-day course prepares students to carry with confidence and responsibility by addressing the legal, ethical, and practical realities of defensive carry. Instruction includes firearm safety, Missouri use-of-force law, situational awareness, and essential shooting fundamentals grounded in real-world application.
Successful completion satisfies the training requirement for a Missouri concealed carry permit. Training is conducted at APT’s private facility in Galena, Missouri, just outside Springfield, in a focused, professional environment designed to build capable, responsible armed citizens.
